Delete your CrunchFile account or data

CrunchFile (the app CrunchFile: Scan & Compress on Google Play and the App Store, and getcrunchfile.com) is run by HK Global Ventures LLC. You can delete your whole account yourself at any time, or delete only some of your files.

Delete your account

In the phone app

  1. Open CrunchFile and tap the Account tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away and you're signed out.

On the website

  1. Sign in at getcrunchfile.com and open your Dashboard.
  2. Go to Plan & Account and choose Delete account.
  3. Type the confirmation and press Permanently delete.

Can't sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm it's you and delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your login (email, password, name) and your profile
  • Every document and photo saved to your CrunchFile library
  • Your saved signatures, folders and usage history
  • Document requests you created, the files people uploaded to them, your API keys and webhook settings
  • Any active Pro subscription is cancelled first, so you're not charged again

What is kept

  • Payment records: if you ever paid for Pro, Stripe (our payment processor) keeps the transaction records that tax and accounting law require. We don't keep card numbers.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: page-view and feature counts stay in our analytics with your account link removed, for up to 26 months.

Nothing else is retained. Files uploaded only for processing (not saved) are deleted automatically within 60 minutes either way.

Delete some data without deleting your account

  • A saved file: in the app's Files tab or the website's My Documents, open the file's menu and choose Delete. It's removed from storage immediately.
  • Your saved signature: in Smart Sign, tap Remove saved signature under your signature.
  • A document request and its uploads: delete the files from My Documents; to remove a request entirely, email us and we'll clear it.
  • Anything else: email [email protected] and tell us what to delete.
